A full height oak porch has 4 individual posts that sit on independent staddle stones,which like the floor wall mounted porch means you only need pad foundations. Because of the extra weight your pad foundation for the full height porch will need to be slightly deeper. A builder or groundworker will be able to advise you on the best option.
