Grown sustainably from a site in rural France, our trees are grown to be as tall and strong as they need to be to give your house a long-lasting, hardwearing porch that will remain an ideal addition for years to come. Keeping the trees tall, strong and straight-trunked also means that we can use as much of them as possible, minimising waste and allowing us to create as many porch kits as our customers would like.
When the timber is brought to our workshops on our site, the first people the wood will see will be our expert timber graders and highly skilled carpenters. They will check it thoroughly for warps, faults or defects which may prevent a completed kit from reaching its full potential. Flawed wood can have an impact on the structural integrity of our products, so we will instead responsibly recycle any piece which does not meet our standards.
